Birthday Picnic Surprise

This past week Cam and I had a great time visiting with my parents! My dad’s birthday was on Saturday, and we went to Disneyland. This was our first time at Disneyland in California. We grew up going to Disney World in Florida, so this was really exciting for us! My dad is a huge Star Wars fan, so we got tickets to the Star Wars Rise of the Resistance. It honestly was so cool! You don’t even have to be a Star Wars fan to appreciate the ride. Disney is amazing at attention to detail and made you feel like you were in the movie! So, we celebrated my dad all day on Saturday. We wanted to have a “rest” day on Sunday because we knew we would be tired from the park, so we planned the second park for Monday.

My mom’s birthday was on Sunday, so even though it was a rest day, I wanted to make sure she was celebrated too!! I reached out to Jennifer at Made with Jetaime Events to see if she was available on Sunday to do a surprise picnic for my mom. Luckily, she had a spot left for Sunday at sunset! It was PERFECT! We have gone to the beach a few times since we’ve lived out here, but we didn’t really know of any quiet spots for a picnic, so we let Jennifer know the beach that we typically go to, and she was able to find the perfect spot on the beach for us that was not very busy at all! She made it so easy for us to find her on the beach by sharing her location with me through text!

Jennifer at Made with Jetaime Events has two different picnic options with add-ons available to really personalize your picnic! All picnics include the picnic table, silk floral décor, candles, table runner, entrée plates, glass cups, silverware, linen napkin, floor pillows, large rug/floor blanket, personalized chalkboard sign, ice buckets/drink holder, and sparkling water. The Classic Picnic Package includes all of this for 2-4 guests and you can bring your own food and drinks!

Then, there’s the Modern Picnic Package which is the one that we went with! This includes everything from the classis package plus a charcutterie board (she can do one big one or individual boxes) & chocolate covered strawberries! She’s great at checking to see if there are any allergies before creating the boards as well!

Some add-ons you can get are: full sandwich and salad, macarons, fresh flower arrangement, flower bouquet, white fringe tent (we did this!), white fringe umbrella, white lace teepee, string lights (we also did this!), photography session (30 minutes), game box, wine glasses, Bluetooth speaker, balloon garland, and extra time!

She also has 5 different theme styles you can choose from which is great for different occasions! We went with the Boho style, but she also does Chic, Amour (perfect for a date night), Coastal Capri, Tropical, and Boho Desert! They’re all so cute!

Made with Jetaime Events really takes out all the planning for you! Jennifer thinks of everything, so you don’t have to! She was so great to work with and threw it together so quickly!
